Every part has its true envelope, position and travel, and the records are real discs, but most printed parts are still envelopes rather than print models. The motion is the planner's own keyframes, in the order the controller will use, interpolated linearly between them — so it shows the path, not the acceleration. The record selector plays the cycle for a 12", a 10" or a 7" in slot 0: only the pick and the return change, by the height of the record's centre in its slot. The carousel carries a mixed load, with the empty slot the loading rule asks for at the front end of the run of 7"s. The chains and the cables that feed them are drawn as they lie at the home pose and ride along rigidly.
